Absolute Truth
Jesus Christ said ‘you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.’
But in an age when there are so many conflicting and competing views of the world, how can we be certain of what is right and wrong? How can we know what is true and experience this freedom Jesus talked about?
At Northmead Anglican Churches we are asking the really big questions of life and looking at the Absolute Truth. Not just someone’s opinion or hunch, not the latest media driven trends or assumptions but what is the absolute truth about God, about you, about love, and about life and death?
With delicious espresso coffee, awesome programmes for kids and youth and a warm community feel, you’re more than welcome to join us each Sunday between July 12 and August 2 as we discover truth that is so absolute Jesus was willing to die for it.
July 12
The Absolute Truth About GOD
How do we know God exists? How do we know what God is like? Why does it matter anyway? Come along and hear about how God has made himself known in the world and what his message to the world is.
July 19
The Absolute Truth About YOU
The question of humanity identity is an important one to answer. Why are we here? Who are we and what is life all about? What kind of person are we meant to be and how are we meant to live? Jesus comes to tell us the place we have in God’s plans and in his heart.
July 26
The Absolute Truth About LOVE
We talk about love all the time and we all crave it. But there’s so many different versions of it and it never seems to last or satisfy us. What is love, really? Is it just lust, or a feeling, or even a myth? If life is ultimately about our relationships, then we need to get right what love really is.
August 2
The Absolute Truth About
LIFE and DEATH
This is the one we all really want to know the answer to isn’t it? How can we defeat death? What comes after death? Wouldn’t we all love to know some way to hang on to life and to those around us we love? Jesus says there is an answer to all of these questions – and it’s easier, and better than we could ever imagine.
