At Northmead Anglican we are growing people passionate for Christ. Our greatest desire is to honour Jesus by helping others come to know him personally. We are a community of people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds who are keen to express our devotion to Christ through gathering, growing, giving and going as his disciples. We really would love to help you discover the amazing hope, joy and forgiveness that come from knowing the love of Jesus Christ.
What to Expect
Whether you’ve never been to church before, or are coming back after a while, we want to welcome you to any of our church gatherings whatever your background or experience.
We are a bunch of ordinary people who have been rescued and transformed by our extraordinary God. So when we get together it has a really relaxed feel even as we get to hear the amazing God of the universe speak to us through the Bible.
If you are new at our church we’ll make a special effort to welcome you and help you find your way around. You’ll receive a welcome pack and our team will be ready to answer any questions you might have.
At the centre of everything we do is God’s word, the Bible. God speaks and reveals himself by his Spirit through his word, which means we are passionate about giving clear, solid Bible teaching week in week out. We love the Bible and we’ll hand you one when you walk through our doors. If you don’t have a Bible at home we’d love you to keep it, as our gift to you.
Each week at our church gatherings we come together to do things like:
Because we think Jesus is awesome and is worth singing about
Because we love to talk to our great God and he loves to hear our prayers
KIDS’ SPOT & PROGRAMS
At 9am and 11am family churches at Northmead, and Winston Hills Anglican church we have a short and fun talk for kids followed by excellent and enjoyable kids’ programs.
Every week we have a 30min Bible talk – it’s a great opportunity to have God’s word taught to us in an engaging, challenging and helpful way.
We love to meet people and share friendship and the best way to do that is over food. So stay after church for some snacks, coffee, tea and some great conversations. Once a term at 9am and 11am family churches we do church a little different over brunch.
We’d love you to come along and visit us any Sunday, and we look forward to seeing you at one of our gatherings.
If you would like to know a little more about what we do at our church please get in touch with us and we would love to answer your questions.
