Local Community – ESL – Adult Conversation Classes

We live in a multicultural society where more and more people speak their own languages rather than English. ESL (or English as a Second Language) is a great way for your neighbours to not only learn English, but to be surrounded by Christians who offer support to them.

Come and learn English, invite your friends along!

Adult Conversation Classes are held every Monday from 9.15 am until 11.30am in the ‘before and after school care’ room at Northmead Primary School. All are welcome and it only costs $20 for the whole term, which includes English lessons and morning tea.

Pray for ESL.

Thank God for the year of English teaching at Northmead Public School. Thank God for the staff at the school especially in the office and at NOOSH. Please pray for the students and their families that they would meet Jesus this Christmas time. Pray for the relationships between the students that this would continue to grow as they support each other over the holidays. Thank God for answered prayers for our African lady who needed work.

Ask God to prepare people for the new year of class beginning in February and to bring people seeking Him. Praise God for the joy and encouragment of serving in this way in the community.
