Fathers’ Day
We’ve got a big Fathers’ Day meeting coming up this Sunday. We’re going to hear from a Christian psychologist about how to be a great dad, and specifically how to encourage our kids through the different ages and stages that they go through. Plus, we’ll be hearing from four of our dads about their experiences raising their kids.
It should be a lot of fun and a great time to think more about how we father our kids – and there’ll be a BBQ morning tea too!

UPCOMING EVENTS and REMINDERS
Saturday 11th September - Garage Sale. Sam Castley will be having a garage sale, with all the proceeds going to Christians in Tanzania/Kenya. If you have items you’d like to donate, then please speak to Sam. It’ll run from 8am-12pm, and why not think about coming along to get to know others in our community, and even pick up a bargain.
Saturday 18th September - Ride for Refugees. The ‘WHAC Riders’ will once again be joining over 6000 bike riders and volunteers in 22 cities around the globe to raise over $1,000,000 for the estimated 42 million refugees and internally displaced peoples in our world. Just follow this link to sign up to ride for, or financially support, the WHAC team. Talk to Ben Enviah for details.
